For the third consecutive May we’ve brought a group of yoga and wine lovers together at Condor’s Hope for a wonderful weekend. Once again we experienced the joy of people from different backgrounds and generations sharing together. We not only shared yoga, food and wine but we all learned to truly adapt to nature. While in past May retreats we had very warm weather, this year we had a coldfront which had us seeking the sunshine to stay warm! Our creative teacher, Sue Merritt, adapted the outdoor classes to our bodies’ needs. The Condor’s Hope Yoga get-away is truly a chance to be in nature as we practice our downward dogs! Please enjoy the pictures below.
- Welcome to Condor’s Hope’s 3rd Annual Yoga in the Vineyard
- with hosts Robbie & Steve
- Yoga teacher supreme Sue Merritt
- Amazing food prepared by Dave & Whitney
- Yoga was the center of our weekend
- Where we opened our hearts and backs
- in the sun to stay warm
- or bundled up like a mummy
- until together we did the zombie walk
- or took advantage of our dog Cora to assist with a forward bend
- And we had wine tastings
- of Condor’s Hopes varietals
- to connect the dry farm system with the rich nuances of the wine.
- And we enjoyed each other’s company
- as we ate delicious meals
- from wild salmon
- to dutch oven desserts
- We took morning hikes
- to learn about the landscape
- And overlook the vineyard
- And in the evenings warmed ourselves by the campfire
- as we enjoyed dessert and listened to the music of Seth & Katie.
