The abundant winter rains led to a plush spring, creating much summer growth in the vineyard. The cover crop of vetch and oats was shoulder high in places, before it was disced into the soil adding nutrients for the vines. Bluebirds nested, for the first time, in our new nest boxes. And the neighborhood bobcat, taught her young how to hunt in our vineyard as they easily came and went over the treehouse bridge! It was a delightful spring and now the grapevines and olive trees are putting energy into their fruit as we watch grapes and olives develop from flowers toward ripening. We are so grateful to be part of watching the seasons unfold and the cycles repeat. Thank you to all who joined us and shared in this with us.
