Our 2006 Zinfandel and Shiraz were just bottled after 20 months in the barrel. Ideal winter rainfall followed by a dry but not excessively hot summer produced concentrated dry-farmed grapes with excellent brix (sugars) at harvest. Full fruit and spice characterize these big red wines. At 10 years since planting, our wines are showing maturity characteristic of older vines. Our recently released 2007 Rosé reflects the extremely dry and hot summer of the 2007 season, with deeper color, more fruit taste and aroma, and a touch of sweetness.
